Who

Ravneet Singh Gandhi, Cetking founder. Not a developer. Needs plain-language, click-by-click help. Site updates go live by Claude pushing code to GitHub (Vercel redeploys automatically); he is not relaying changes through ChatGPT.

Names

  • Cetking One = the whole umbrella: faculty, leads, admin and everything, along with students.
  • Cetking Universe (formerly "Cetking Aashram") = only the student-facing AI campus described in this folder, a subset of Cetking One.

Companions (current lineup — subjects live since PR #125, names since PR #126 on 5 Oct 2026)

  • Six, organised by subject: Oracle (home host, holds coins), Veda (Quant), Shabda (Verbal), Tarka (Logic & DILR), Mocky (mocks, battles, leaderboard), Purva (admissions, GD-PI).
  • Internal keys and page addresses stay by subject: quant /quant, verbal /verbal, logic /logic. In the menu each name shows its subject underneath ("Veda / Quant").
  • Each subject bot owns everything for its subject: classes, videos, shortcuts, books, PDFs, practice.
  • DI rule: DI for CET, SNAP, NMAT, CMAT belongs to Veda (Quant); CAT DILR and CET-only reasoning belong to Tarka (Logic).
  • Arena / War Room lives inside Mocky (Battle tab). Coins are earned in every bot and held by Oracle.
  • Names, colours, taglines and mascot shapes live only in config/companions.config.ts. Mascots: Oracle round (indigo), Veda egg (yellow), Shabda teardrop (purple), Tarka jelly bean (red), Mocky clay (light blue), Purva cloud (orange). The mascot inside each bot page's white card is a small 44px corner signature (5 Oct 2026).
  • Analytics is a shared service inside every bot, not a bot.
  • Oracle sees everything, owns nothing; she gives the whole-brain view.
  • Students rename each companion at onboarding.
  • Staff use separate CK Backoffice MCP, no persona.
  • Dead names (do not bring back): Rocky, Arena (as a bot), Guruji, Sutra, Luna, Mishika, Pandit, Sensei, Scout, Artha, Vaani, Buddhi, Chandra, Surya.
  • Old addresses redirect: /arena → /mocks, /teaching → /quant, /books → /verbal.

Product

  • SEO pages, blogs, videos, shops are formats owned by a bot (bot_owner), not a separate site.
  • Strangler-fig: Phase 1 wraps existing TCY, War Room, Dyntube; Phase 2 adds AI.
  • Next.js chosen over plain HTML for SEO, dashboards and the Arena.
  • WordPress posts and pages migrate with their URLs preserved.

Tech

  • Stack: Next.js + Supabase + Claude/Groq + Vercel.
  • LLM never writes SQL; Supabase stores, code calculates, LLM narrates.
  • Tiers mvp / growth / premium; moving up is a config change, not a rewrite.
  • Cost: about $220/month at 700 free + 300 paid users; about $100 is achievable.
  • Security baseline (7 layers) locked. See SECURITY.md.
  • OTP login is Ravneet's separate work and will be reused here.
  • Bot names and colours stay in the settings file, not Supabase (4 Oct 2026): faster pages, nothing to break, every change checked before it goes live.

UX

  • Playful downtime: in-character X plus an alternative, never a raw error.
  • Home page (2 Oct 2026): white background, no hero buttons, Oracle welcome, headline "Your AI Campus.", six animated bots right under the text, translucent pill nav that opens a six-bot menu, shared PrimaryButton, footer "Cetking.com your learning home." with 5,314 users of 2026 batch.
  • Brand spelling: Cetking (not CETking).
  • Motion system applied 2 Oct 2026 (see MOTION.md). Rollback point: branch backup-before-motion (commit 3c45a62).

Process

  • Each AI tool works on its own branch; this docs/ folder is the shared brief.
  • Blue and green sites (4 Oct 2026): every site change goes to a blue preview first; green (live) changes only when Ravneet says "go live". See RELEASES.md.
